A chaotic afternoon saw the Fighting Irish dominate its way to an early 20-point lead only to allow 27 straight points. The University of Notre Dame football team (3-5) responded to adversity in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to earn a 30-27 come-from-behind victory over Miami (4-4) in front of 80,795 spectators at Notre Dame Stadium.
Justin Yoon’s 23-yard field goal with 30 seconds remaining proved to be the game winner, following Josh Adams 41-yard rushing touchdown at 5:53 in the fourth quarter to cap Notre Dame’s dramatic comeback.
