Additionally, under Catholic teaching, artificial contraception is a mortal sin, undertaken at peril of eternal damnation and barring the perpetrator from receiving Holy Communion until they repent and undertake a valid Confession. Given the fact that some ACC members institutions perform abortions and/or train abortionists, Notre Dame has no business belonging
