Miami (Fla.)’s Abortion Involvement is Reminder That Notre Dame Should Leave ACC
Catholic Canon Law provides excommunication for abortion, an indication of how seriously the matter is viewed by the Holy Catholic Church. Yet, with its ACC partnership, Notre Dame is playing yet another football game against a University of Miami (Fla.) that openly and notoriously advertises that it performs abortions.

So Notre Dame, which aspires to be known as a Catholic institution, is enhancing the revenue and prestige of an abortion provider. Beyond the fact that abortion is the deliberate taking of a human life, in some instances against a victim who can feel pain, there also is the racist impact, the gender-discriminatory impact and the anti-American impact, where more American have died in the womb from abortion than from any war or any terrorist attack. In fact, the number of Americans killed on 9/11 is not that different from the average daily number killed in the womb by abortion in the United States.
And Miami is not the only abortion perpetrator in the ACC.
Notre Dame needs to stop scheduling abortion providers, and that means leaving the ACC. That they found themselves in this position to begin with implies a lack of due diligence, a lack of leadership and a lack of a properly formed moral compass.
