“As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers,
Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew,
casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen.
He said to them,
‘Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men.’
At once they left their nets and followed Him. …”
“#Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,
‘I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been Your Gracious Will.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father.
No one knows who the Son is except the Father,
and who the Father is except the Son
and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.’ …”

he would have stayed awake and not let his house be broken into. So too, you also must be prepared,for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.'”

‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues
from place to place;
and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky.'”

but now it is hidden from your eyes.
For the days are coming upon you
when your enemies will raise a palisade against you;
they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides.
They will smash you to the ground and your children within you,
and they will not leave one stone upon another within you
because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.'”
