“‘The kingdom of heaven is like a landowner
who went out at dawn to hire laborers for his vineyard.
… ‘… What if I wish to give this last one the same as you?
Or am I not free to do as I wish with my own money?
Are you envious because I am generous?’
Thus, the last will be first, and the first will be last.'”
“… Peter approached Jesus and asked Him,
‘Lord, if my brother sins against me,
how often must I forgive?
As many as seven times?’
Jesus answered, ‘I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times. …'”
“… For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son,
so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish
but might have Eternal Life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be Saved through Him.”

For where two or three are gathered together in my name,

And demons also came out from many, shouting, ‘You are the Son of God.’
But He rebuked them and did not allow them to speak
because they knew that He was the Christ.
At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place.
The crowds went looking for Him, and when they came to Him,
they tried to prevent Him from leaving them.
But He said to them, ‘To the other towns also
I must proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God,
because for this purpose I have been sent.’ …”

‘O woman, great is your faith!
Let it be done for you as you wish.’
And the woman’s daughter was healed from that hour.”

‘My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior

From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me
and holy is his Name. …”

‘Blessed is the womb that carried you
and the breasts at which you nursed.’
He replied,
‘Rather, blessed are those
who hear the word of God and observe it.'”
“As Jesus and His Disciples were gathering in Galilee,
Jesus said to them,
‘The Son of Man is to be handed over to men,
and they will kill him, and he will be raised on the third day.’
And they were overwhelmed with grief. …”
