“… He said to Simon, ‘Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.’ … Jesus said to Simon, ‘Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.’ When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything and followed him.”
“Simon’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a severe fever … [Jesus] stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up immediately and waited on them. … all who had people sick with various diseases
brought them to him. He laid his hands on each of them and cured them. And demons also came out from many …. [Jesus] said … ‘… I must proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent.’ … “
“… Jesus rebuked him and said, ‘Be quiet! Come out of him!’ Then the demon threw the man down in front of them
and came out of him without doing him any harm. They were all amazed and said to one another, ‘What is there about His Word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.’ And news of Him spread everywhere in the surrounding region.”

They rose up, drove him out of the town, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their town had been built, to hurl him down headlong. But he passed through the midst of them ….”

“Jesus told His Disciples this parable: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out at dawn to hire laborers for his vineyard. … he went out again around noon, and around three o’clock, and did likewise. … ‘ … the last will be first, and the first will be last.'”
[Jesus answered,] ‘… If you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments. … You shall not kill; you shall not commit adultery; you shall not steal; you shall not bear false witness; honor your father and your mother; and you shall love your neighbor as yourself. … If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.’ …”
“Jesus said to the crowds: ‘I AM the Living Bread that came down from Heaven; whoever eats this Bread will live forever; and the Bread that I will give is My Flesh for the life of the world.’ … Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has Eternal Life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. …”
“Peter approached Jesus and asked him, ‘Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?’ Jesus answered, ‘I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times. …'”
“Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah … When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? …’ … Mary said: ‘”My soul proclaims the Greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior …’ …”
