“Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His Disciples …
‘… do not be called “Rabbi.”
You have but one teacher, and you are all brothers.
Call no one on earth your father;
you have but one Father in heaven.
Do not be called “Master”;
you have but one master, the Christ.
The greatest among you must be your servant.
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled;
but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”‘”
“… Jesus spoke to the scholars of the law and Pharisees in reply, asking,
‘Is it lawful to cure on the sabbath or not?’
… Who among you, if your son or ox falls into a cistern,
would not immediately pull him out on the sabbath day?’…”
“‘… For this is the will of My Father,
that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him
may have Eternal Life,
and I shall raise Him on the last day.'”

and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb.'”

To what can I compare it?
It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden.
When it was fully grown, it became a large bush

and with all your mind.
This is the greatest and the first Commandment.
The second is like it:
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
The whole Law and the Prophets depend on these two Commandments.”

and how I wish it were already blazing!
There is a baptism with which I must be baptized,
and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished!
Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth?
No, I tell you, but rather division. …'”

Much will be required of the person entrusted with much,
and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.'”
