As a shepherd tends his flock\u00a0when he finds himself among his scattered sheep,\u00a0so will I tend my sheep.\u00a0I will rescue them from every place where they were scattered\u00a0&#8230;\u00a0I &#8230;\u00a0will pasture my sheep;\u00a0I myself will give them rest\u00a0&#8230;\u00a0The lost I will seek out,\u00a0the strayed I will bring back,\u00a0the injured I will bind up,\u00a0the sick I will heal &#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the same time, God will judge between us, as a shepherd separates rams from goats.<\/p>\n<p>This promise parallels the Gospel passage from Matthew 25, in which Jesus explains that, at the end of time, God will divide out the good from the evil, like a shepherd dividing sheep from goats.<\/p>\n<p><div style=\"padding-top:10px;padding-bottom:10px;\">\r\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- faith-wp-respons-2 -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3210937145558786\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"5586646142\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script>\r\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\r\n<\/div>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/usccb.org\/bible\/psalms\/23:1\" href=\"http:\/\/usccb.org\/bible\/psalms\/23:1\" target=\"_blank\">PSALM 23:1-2, 2-3, 5-6<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Lord is my Shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"420\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kThwg5Y2OcM?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/usccb.org\/bible\/1corinthians\/15:20\">SECOND READING: 1 Corinthians 15:20-26, 28<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Saint Paul writes to the Christians of Corinth that Jesus Christ has been Raised from the dead, and that in Christ all who belong to Christ be brought back to life.<\/p>\n<p>Christ will reign and bring all His enemies under His Feet, finally including death.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of time, He will hand over the Kingdom to His Father.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Christ has been raised from the dead,\u00a0the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. &#8230;\u00a0in Christ shall all be brought to life\u00a0&#8230;\u00a0each &#8230; in proper order:\u00a0Christ the firstfruits;\u00a0then, at his coming, those who belong to Christ;\u00a0then comes the end,\u00a0when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father,\u00a0when he has destroyed every sovereignty\u00a0and every authority and power.\u00a0For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.\u00a0The last enemy to be destroyed is death. &#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><div style=\"padding-top:10px;padding-bottom:10px;\">\r\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- faith-wp-respons-2 -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3210937145558786\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"5586646142\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script>\r\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\r\n<\/div>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/usccb.org\/bible\/matthew\/25:31\">GOSPEL: Matthew 25:31-46<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jesus explains to His Disciples that at the end of time, He will come in His Glory, attended by Holy Angels, and sit upon His Throne with all nations before Him to be judged.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Jesus said to His Disciples:\u00a0&#8216;When the Son of Man comes in His Glory,\u00a0and all the Angels with Him,\u00a0He will sit upon His Glorious Throne,\u00a0and all the nations will be assembled before Him. \u00a0And He will separate them one from another,\u00a0as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Christ the King will reveal that He has been among us in distressing disguise, appearing as those who are hungry, thirsty, naked, sick, in prison and a stranger. He shall invite to Eternal Life those who showed Him Mercy:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8230; the king will say to those on his right,\u00a0&#8216;Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
