want to honor them as Zeus and Hermes, prompting fierce rebukes from Paul.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>At Lystra there was a crippled man, lame from birth,\u00a0who had never walked. \u00a0He listened to Paul speaking, who looked intently at him,\u00a0saw that he had the faith to be healed,\u00a0and called out in a loud voice, &#8216;Stand up straight on your feet.&#8217;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The man is cured. \u00a0Note the key element of the account, that Paul sees that the cripple, in himself, has the faith to cooperate with God in being cured miraculously.<\/p>\n<h3>LINKS &amp;
