“… Zacchaeus … a chief tax collector and … a wealthy man … seeking to see who Jesus was … short in stature … climbed a sycamore tree … Jesus looked up and said, ‘Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house.’ … Zacchaeus … said to the Lord, ‘Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone I shall repay it four times over.’ … Jesus … ‘Today Salvation has come to this house …. the Son of Man has come to seek and to Save what was lost.'”

But yet it is enlightened by presence of its Redeemer, to see already the joys of inward light by desire, and to direct the footsteps of its good works in the way of life. …”
